Another great weekend of racing for NS Aquatic Swimmers competing for Warringah Swim Club at the NSW State Open Championships on the weekend.
34 swimmers competed in 154 individual races and 9 relays finishing in 7th place overall on the combined point score.
A total of 20 Finals across the 3 days of heats and finals was an outstanding effort for a club of young swimmers.
Our relays proved once again that the swimmers really come together to find something extra for their team mates, finishing top 10 in all 9 relays and finishing with 4 Bronze and 1 Silver medal.
In summary, Warringah Swim Club finished with 2 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals and a State record.
Special mention to Luke Higgs who lowered his own NSW State record in the 16yrs boys 800 Freestyle by a further 4secs.
Congratulations all swimmers on a fantastic effort.
