NS Swim School Policies and Risk management for Coronavirus (COVID-19)

NS Swim School is following all government procedures and policies regarding the risk management of COVID-19 and implemented even further procedures in order to lower the risk of infection.

For full details of the COVID – 19 virus, read the following website.

https://www.health.gov.au/health-topics/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov

PLEASE NOTE: If you or your child has a temperature or cold or any flu-like symptoms, go straight to your doctor or medical centre to be tested. Then ring the swim school in order to cancel your child’s class.

Please don’t hesitate to ask the administration staff any questions if needed.

For your peace of mind please understand that chlorine works like a disinfectant and therefore helps prevent infection.

As noted in the government document unless you have COVID-19 wearing a facemask will not help you. If you have COVID-19 please do not come to the pool.

In addition to the measures mentioned in the above-mentioned website, we have put in place some extra processes so as to ensure all areas will be as germ-free as possible.

  • Hand Sanitizer at the front desk to be used upon entry (COMPULSORY)
  • Disinfection of all handrails regularly
  • Mats sprayed with disinfectant throughout the day
  • Changeroom floors and toilets are cleaned every 30min.
  • All door handles and seats wiped with disinfectant throughout the day.)
  • Extra days added for super-chlorination.

We will continue to monitor health department warnings and change policies and risk management as needed.

Please keep up to date using the Coronavirus COVID-19 Australian Government website.

In the meantime, its business as usual.

Thank you for cooperation during this time.
